Live updates on Cyclone Biparjoy reveal two fatalities and impending severe depression

Cyclone Biparjoy Live: On Thursday, the coastal region of Gujarat was hit by Cyclone Biparjoy, which had been developing over the Arabian Sea for several days. According to meteorology officials, it has now diminished and is now headed towards south Rajasthan.






Cyclone Biparjoy, whose name means "disaster" in Bengali, is now less powerful. After making landfall in Gujarat's coastal regions on Thursday, Biparjoy's severity was downgraded from "very severe" to "severe." Heavy rains are anticipated in Rajasthan on Friday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which also stated that the cyclone has now transitioned from the sea to land and is centred around Saurashtra-Kutch.
