Is Pakistan coming to India for World Cup 2023
Pakistan's foreign ministry announced on Sunday that the nation's men's cricket squad will go to India for the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The Pakistani cricket squad will travel to India to compete in the ICC World Cup 2023, according to the country's foreign ministry. The decision was made at a time when Pakistan was threatening to boycott the World Cup after India announced it would not visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2023.

"Pakistan has consistently argued that politics and sports shouldn't mingle. As a result, it has chosen to send its cricket team to India in order to compete in the next ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, according to a release from the foreign ministry.

According to the press release, Pakistan's decision demonstrates its reasonable and constructive response to India's stubbornness and demonstrates its belief that politics shouldn't get in the way of upholding its duties to participate in international sports.

Pakistan feels that its commitments under international sports agreements should not be hindered by the nature of its bilateral relations with India. India had declined to bring its cricket team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, therefore Pakistan's move demonstrates its responsible and constructive approach in contrast to that nation's implacable stance, according to the statement.

Worried about Pakistani team's safety
Even more, Pakistan's foreign ministry stated that it has informed the ICC and Indian authorities of its concerns over the security of its cricket team while playing in India.

However, Pakistan has serious worries regarding the safety of its cricket team. We are expressing these worries to the Indian government and the International Cricket Council. The Pakistani foreign ministry stated, "We anticipate that the Pakistan Cricket Team's trip to India would be completely safe and secure.

The foreign ministry said in an announcement that "bilateral relationships" with India won't interfere with Pakistan cricket's responsibilities abroad.

"Pakistan has insisted without wavering that politics and sports shouldn't be intermingled. In order to compete in the next ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, it has consequently chosen to provide its cricket team to India, according to the announcement from the foreign ministry.

"Pakistan thinks that completing its obligations under sports worldwide agreements should not be hindered by the state of its economic relationship with India."
It's interesting that the Asia Cup, which was initially supposed to be hosted by Pakistan, is followed by the ODI World Cup. Sri Lanka was chosen as one of the co-hosts for the continental tournament, and all of India's games were scheduled there as a result of the BCCI's unwillingness to send the Indian team to the nation. The foreign ministry made sure to remind India of the deed in its statement.
In response to India's implacable stance, which prevented it from sending its cricket team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, Pakistan's move "shows its constructive and responsible approach," the statement said.

Pakistani authorities visited several locations where the team is set to play in World Cup games in recent weeks to inspect security measures. After the 2016 T20 World Cup, a Pakistani men's team won't be visiting India till this time. The last bilateral series Pakistan played occurred between December 2012 and January 2013, which also happened to be the final series between the two nations. Since then, only international (World Cup, Champions Trophy) and continental (Asia Cup) competitions have seen both countries play one other.
But this year, India-Pakistan supporters can expect a heavy dose of matches; both teams might face off three times in the Asia Cup and are also placed in the same group.
'Group A' of the competition. The World Cup match between the two teams is planned for October 15 in Ahmedabad, although the date may alter for security concerns.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet formally confirmed that the highly awaited match between the two bitter rivals would be played on October 14 and not on October 15 in Ahmedabad, but the 50-over World Cup will be hosted in India from October 5 to November 19.

According to a press statement from the foreign ministry, Pakistan has long argued that politics and sports should not be intertwined. As a result, it has chosen to send a squad to India to take part in the 2018 World Cup.

With the BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who is also the leader of the Asian Cricket Council, claiming the competition will be staged under a hybrid style, which was ultimately agreed upon, India had declined to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup in October 2022.

Virat Kohli will resume leading Test teams.

Virat Kohli will resume leading Test teams. On social media, there is an increasing call for the Indian cricket team's Test captain to be replaced. Rohit Sharma should be replaced, according to fans, by either Virat Kohli or Ravichandran Ashwin. However, given the ageing Indian team, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors have a difficult task in selecting a new skipper. With the exception of Shubman Gill, all six of the top players are over 34 years old, making the transition all the more critical. After India's dismal loss to Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) final, Rohit Sharma's leadership has come under fire. The team lost by 209 runs, extending their ICC title drought even further. The World Test Championship's upcoming cycle means that the selectors may have a difficult time finding a suitable successor. Given the limited choices available and the approaching ODI World Cup in 2023, it is unlikely that Rohit will be replaced anytim...
